| Fair Chase Aoudad Hunting Devils River Ranch |
Aoudad, also known as Barbary Sheep are native to the arid Atlas mountains of northern Africa.
They are relatively large wild sheep with horns curving outward, backward and then inward. Ewes have horns as well,
but not as large as the rams. Aoudad sheep have a long tail and a obvious growth of long hair on the throat, chest and
upper parts of front legs. Aoudad sheep are well adapted to dry, rough, barren and waterless
habitat. These wild sheep live in small groups comprised of old and young animals of both sexes. They are expert
climbers and can ascend and descend slopes so steep that a man can only negotiate with great difficulty. Consequently,
they are very challenging to hunt.

| Aoudad Sheep Hunting Devils River Ranch |
Our Aoudad Sheep hunts are conducted under "fair chase" conditions at our Devils River Ranch.
You will work with your guide to determine the method most suitable for your hunt. We use a combination of spot and
stalk, blind hunting and "safari style" methods to get your sheep. Rest assured, your Aoudad will be a wild
sheep that has rarely heard the English spoken word.
